Does not live up to its name

Hello, I research these, and these on the website said these were your warmest socks. I wore these freezing conditions in my Gore-Tex waterproof, walking boots and my feet were cold so I don’t think they’re up to freezing temperatures. They might be up to slightly cold temperatures between 3 to 8 or 9°, but they certainly don’t work. I would not recommend them increasing conditions as I put them on today and my feet were cold.

The socks are heat holders, as the name suggests they are designed to hold the heat that is already in your feet. If your feet are very cold when you put them on they will not work to the best of their ability.

If you put them in an airing cupboard or on a radiator (even a blast from the hair dryer) before wearing them this will help trap warm air in the specially brushed lining, and will help maximise the performance of the socks.
