These Mens Lite Dunlin Plain Socks in Black boast an impressive 1.6 TOG rating, making them four times warmer than a basic cotton sock. They give you the ideal balance between thickness and warmth, allowing you to enjoy long-lasting comfort in your casual shoes all winter long.

Soon after we launched our famous Original socks, we set out to create the warmest thermal sock for more casual-fitting footwear. Following twelve months of testing, development and research, the Heat Holders Lite thermal socks were born.

Great product that really works well and very comfortable, no more cold feet! Good value too. Hopefully they will last

Not Holey Good!

These socks are warm and fit well into my Xero shoes, but they are let down by apparent lack of robustness in the toe area! I'm a runner, so I keep my toenails very short, but one of the socks got a big toe hole within 2-3 weeks of wearing them on most days. I will now need to find some material of a tight weave, such as denim, and sew them into the sock to form a toe box. I think Heat Holders should recognise that their relatively soft layered assembly is vulnerable to toes and incorporate stronger material into the toe area from the start.

I bought these for my husband to wear outdoors. He is very pleased with them, says they are warm and soft, do not rub, and the tops grip gently without digging in to his ankles. They do shed a bit of "sock fluff", or I'd give them the full 5 stars.

By the nature of the heavy brushing technic that is used to produce the brushed lining, there are often some loose fibers left in the socks which wash out..
